Vitamin B17, the much-hyped vitamin hailed as an antidote to cancer cells, was banned by the FDA of the United States of America in the 80s as a potential cancer treatment, however, a bunch of alternative medicine practitioners still consider the vitamin, also known as Amygdalin or Laetrile, as a likely cure to the deadly disease.
